Rajaji National Park
The Rajaji National Park, one of the most splendid getaways in Rishikesh, inhabits flora and fauna that will leave you spellbound. This park is spread over an area of 820.42 sq. kms., including the Ganges River, which flows for a distance of 24 kilometres. The park is home to the tiger, leopard, Himalayan Bear, cheetah, hog deer, barking deer, Sambhar deer, wild boar, antelopes such as the Nilgai, goral, jackal, hyena, jungle cat, leopard cat, civets, Himalayan yellow-throated marten, sloth bears, pythons, king cobra, common krait, Indian cobra and the monitor lizard, and the Asian elephant. The park has the largest ecological footprint in the entire Shivalik region.
Wildlife Jeep Safaris and Elephant Ride in Rajaji National Park
There is 34 K.M. Nature Safari Trail and drive passing through undulating forest track, hilly terrain, lush green valleys, river beds, dense forests, sprawling grasslands and many never before seen greenery and vegetation.

Elephant Ride in Rajaji National Park
In Rajaji National Park, Two very popular Elephants Arundhati (Not now after her death, she was died due to prolong suffering and people claimed her death was Euthanasia, but Park Official claims it was natural death) and Raja are available for elephant ride. These trained elephants along with their trained mahauts are always an attraction for most of the visitors. All the visitors should never miss the elephant ride. Because It’s a lifetime experience.
